White Powder Found Outside San Bernardino IRS Office Not A Threat
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — White powder found outside an IRS building in San Bernardino was determined to not be a threat to the public, authorities said Wednesday.
Firefighters were sent to the building, at 290 N D St., at 10:28 a.m. after a suspicious white powder was found outside, San Bernardino police Lt. Lawhead said. The building was evacuated for a short time.
San Bernardino City Fire's hazardous materials team tested the material and determined it was not a threat to the public.
