WATCH: NFL DE Jared Allen Rides Horse 'Off Into The Sunset' To Announce His Retirement
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Jared Allen announced on Twitter Thursday that after 12 years in the NFL, he would be retiring.
In a unique and interesting fashion, Allen posted this video of himself on a horse "riding off into the sunset" to let fans know that he would be hanging up his cleats for good.

Allen started his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2004, where he played for four years before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2008.
He was selected to five Pro Bowls in his 12-year career and led NFL in sacks in 2007 and 2011.
