Vehicle Crashes Into Newport Beach Starbucks
NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a Newport Beach Starbucks Thursday evening.
SKY9's Stu Mundel reports a parent and a small child were apparently seen running on foot from the crash at Birch Street and MacArthur Court.
Orange County sheriff's deputies took a male into custody several blocks away. A child could also be seen as deputies talked to the man.
It's unclear what caused the crash.
The Orange County Fire Department was also on the scene.
No injuries were reported at the Starbucks.
The driver's identity had not been released at press time.
