SUV careens into Burbank storefront, driver arrested

A driver was arrested for crashing his SUV into a storefront in Burbank Sunday night.

The incident occurred at about 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Verdugo Road and Glenoaks Boulevard. The SUV first collided with a car before it crashed into a storefront, strewing glass and debris across the sidewalk.

Sky9 was overhead as a large crowd gathered at the crash scene.

No one was seriously hurt, Burbank police said. The driver of the SUV was arrested for reckless driving.
