LAPD Executes Search Warrant At Alleged Illegal Gambling Operation, Several Detained

VAN NUYS (CBSLA) — Several people were detained Thursday night after the Los Angeles Police Department served a pair of search warrants at an alleged illegal gambling operation in the San Fernando Valley.

Police served the search warrant at about 6:50 p.m. in the 14500 block of Archwood Street, near the intersection of Vanowen Street and Van Nuys Boulevard.

Police initially detained more than a dozen people, though it was not immediately clear if any were taken into custody.
