Officials Test Tsunami Warning Communications System

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — County officials tested the tsunami warning communications system Wednesday morning.

The emergency test was broadcasted on television and radio stations between 10:15 a.m. and noon by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the governor's Office of Emergency Services.

Authorities said the test was activated as part of Tsunami Preparedness Week.
