Three Suspects Wanted In Connection With Deadly Shooting In Commerce
COMMERCE (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in Commerce.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent shortly before 9 p.m. on Tuesday to the 5100 block of Astor Avenue for report of a gunshot victim call.
Upon their arrival, authorities discovered an adult Hispanic man lying in front of a home, suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
A preliminary investigation revealed three adult Hispanic men walked up to the victim as he stood in front of his home.
One of the men proceeded to produce a firearm and shot the victim.
The suspects then ran southbound from the scene and fled in an unknown vehicle on Astor Avenue.
At this time, no suspect descriptions have been provided.
The investigation is ongoing.
