Suspected Tagger Fatally Shot In Pomona Alleyway
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say an 18-year-old man was fatally shot in an apparent gang-related shooting in Pomona.
Police received a call reporting the shooting in the 900 block of E. Holt Avenue about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday.
Upon arriving on scene, police located the victim, described as a Hispanic man, in a south alleyway.
A preliminary investigation reveals that the victim and another person were allegedly tagging several buildings in the area when the victim was confronted by two unknown suspects, the Pomona Police Department said in a statement.
The statement says the victim was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details were provided about the suspects.
