Motorist Arrested After Pedestrian Is Killed In Corona Del Mar

CORONA DEL MAR (CBSLA.com) — A male pedestrian was fatally struck Thursday night in Orange County by a motorist who police suspect may have been under the influence.

The unidentified pedestrian was struck around 9:30 p.m. by a pickup heading west in the 4200 block of Pacific Coast Highway, Newport Beach police Sgt. Corey Wolik said.

The man driving the truck was arrested on suspicion of DUI, Wolik said.
