Man Sought In Huntington Beach Bank Robbery

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities sought the public's help Monday in finding a Huntington Beach bank robbery suspect.

Officers with the Huntington Beach Police Department responded to a silent robbery alarm call about 10:20 a.m. Monday at a Citibank branch at 20981 Magnolia St., police said.

Photos released by police show a man at a teller counter presenting a note to a teller. He was given an unknown amount of cash, according to police.

No weapon was mentioned or seen, police said. The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s, 6-f00t-1 and 200 pounds. He is unshaven as was last seen wearing a red baseball cap with a yellow omega logo, teal green sweatshirt and gray pants, possibly sweat pants.
