VENICE (CBSLA.com) — Celebrities expressed concern via Twitter after learning that a single-engine plane piloted by actor Harrison Ford crash-landed in the Venice area of Los Angeles.
Golfers at the Penmar Golf Course helped pull Ford from the vintage aircraft just after 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
The 72-year-old Ford was transported to a hospital in fair to moderate condition, and according to his son, was "battered but OK."
