Starbucks Rolls Out Its Holiday Beverages, Green Cup

LOS ANGELES ( CBSLA.com) — Starbucks Tuesday rolled out its "handcrafted holiday beverages."

This year's line up includes Chestnut Praline Latte, Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brulée Latte, which is made of  Espresso, steamed milk and rich caramel brulée sauce, topped with whipped cream and shimmery caramel brulée topping.

The holiday drinks will come in this green cup with a mosaic design of more than 100 people drawn in one continuous stroke, designed by artist Shogo Ota.

"The green cup and the design represent the connections Starbucks has as a community with its partners (employees) and customers. During a divisive time in our county, Starbucks wanted to create a symbol of unity as a reminder of our shared values, and the need to be good to each other," said Chairman and CEO Howard Schultz.

But some people are not happy about this year's design.

Customers also complained about last year's red cup, saying it was too plain and did not reflect the holiday season.
