Burglary suspects lead police on chase ending in crash in Fountain Valley

Some burglary suspects led Westminster police on a chase that ended in a crash in Fountain Valley, authorities said.

Four people were detained after the pursuit ended near Bushard Street and Heil Avenue, according to police.  At about 1:10 p.m., the Metro Cities Fire Authority said people injured in the crash were receiving medical treatment although it's not clear how many were wounded. Westminster said the suspects were those injured.

Around 1:30 p.m., aerial footage showed a black sedan heavily damaged in an intersection, with two other smashed vehicles seen on tow trucks nearby.

No other details have been released as authorities continue to investigate.
