Shots Fired At MTA Bus In Exposition Park

EXPOSITION PARK (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say shots were fired Tuesday at a Metro Transportation Authority bus in South Los Angeles, but no one was hurt.

The shooting happened about 3:40 p.m. outside bus No. 40, which was traveling eastbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Vermont Avenue.

Metro officials said no one was injured on the bus; however, there was broken glass toward the rear door.

A motive for the attack was not known.
