Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Sexually Assaulting Woman In Fountain Valley Store
FOUNTAIN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A 26-year-old man who allegedly molested and robbed a woman at her place of employment has been arrested, police said Friday.
According to the Fountain Valley Police Department, Danny Thein Nguyen, of Garden Grove, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon and penetration with a foreign object.
Nguyen, who is currently on probation from a robbery case in Westminster, is being held at the Orange County jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
Police said DNA evidence linked him to the sexual assault, which took place around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 10 inside of a business located in the 9000 block of Talbert Avenue.
Nguyen allegedly robbed the victim at gunpoint inside the business. He is accused of holding her against her will in a back room where he sexually assaulted her.
The investigation is ongoing.
