Security Camera Catches 2 Armed Bandits Robbing San Pedro Convenience Store
SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com) — Police need your help with their search for two robbers who police say held up a San Pedro convenience store with a shotgun.
An exterior security camera captured the bandits running into the 7-Eleven at 1519 N. Gaffey St. around 2 a.m. March 27 and ordered the clerk to open two cash registers.
One of the men stood by with a shotgun while the other jumped over the counter and emptied the cash drawers. The bandits also grabbed some items before running off.
One of the suspects is described as black, about 25, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a gray beanie, black hooded sweatshirt, white T-shirt, white gloves, white-and-black basketball shorts and black sneakers, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The second suspect, who appears to be 22, is black, around 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweater, dark gloves, black pants and black-and-white sneakers.
