Search for missing 18-year-old in Mt. Baldy area ends with body found in LA River
Search and rescue crews found the body Friday afternoon of the missing 18-year-old man, who was last seen Sunday, April 23 in the Mount Baldy area.
Los Angeles County Fire responded to the area around 4 p.m. on Sunday where the man reportedly went into a water chute called 'Stoddard Canyon Falls' and never came out the other end.
Friday, the San Dimas Sheriff's Department reported that the body of the 18-year-old was found floating in the L.A. River around 12:06 p.m. Speculation is that the man drowned, but the investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the 18-year-old has not been released.
