Search Continues For Man Who Stabbed 3 At Norwalk Bar

NORWALK (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's detectives searched Friday for a man who stabbed three men in a Norwalk bar and fled.

The stabbing happened at about 12:30 a.m. at the Agave Junction Cantina at 11957 Firestone Blvd., sheriff's Sgt. Jaime Alvarez said.

The three victims were treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to a hospital. They're listed in stable condition Friday morning, Alvarez said.

The suspect, a man in his 40s, fled the bar after the stabbing and detectives were still searching for him Friday morning, she said.

It's not yet known what triggered the violence.

"All four men were at the bar drinking," Alvarez said. "Obviously, alcohol was involved but we don't yet know what led up to the stabbing."

Anyone with information on the attacks can call the sheriff's Norwalk Station at (562) 863-8711. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
