Man Suspected Of Stabbing Woman Wounded In Santa Ana Officer-Involved Shooting

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Santa Ana police Friday shot a man suspected of stabbing a woman.

Police were called about 12:30 p.m. to the 1900 block of South Susan Street in response to a report of a stabbing, Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.

Witnesses followed the suspect, and when police arrived at Harvard Street and Susan, there was an officer-involved shooting, Bertagna said.

The suspect was taken to an area hospital and the woman was treated at the scene, Bertagna said.
