San Bernardino Boy Shot In Forehead With BB Gun; Two Juveniles Sought

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Deputies sought the public's help Tuesday to locate two juvenile males who shot a 5-year-old boy in the forehead with a BB gun.

Shortly before midnight on Saturday, authorities were sent to a home located in the 3300 block of North Conejo Drive for report of an assault with a serious injury to a child.

Upon their arrival, deputies learned the child had been shot in the forehead by an unknown firearm.

Paramedics transported the victim to Loma Linda Children's Hospital where he received care for his injuries.

A preliminary investigation revealed two juvenile males fired a BB gun at the child.

Detectives described the suspects as African American and Caucasian males who are between the ages of 13 to 17-years-old. Witnesses referred to the suspects as Alan and Larry.

According to deputies, both suspects fled northbound on Conejo Drive. They are believed to live in the area.
