Man Seriously Injured In Riverside Park Shooting
RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday searched for a gunman who opened fire on a victim in White Park.
According to the Riverside Police Department, officers were sent to White Park shortly after 11 a.m. for report of a shooting incident.
Upon their arrival, paramedics transported a male victim to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of serious wounds that were sustained in the shooting.
Authorities have detained several people at the scene for questioning. At this time, no arrests have been made.
Schools in the area have been advised to remain on alert, but no officials lockdown orders are in place, according to the Riverside Unified School District.
The investigation is ongoing as the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
