Riverside County sheriff's deputy hospitalized after medical emergency during training exercise

A Riverside County sheriff's deputy was hospitalized on Wednesday after suffering a medical emergency during a training exercise. 

Exact circumstances surrounding the emergency remain unclear, but Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials say that it happened a little after 7 a.m. at an undisclosed location in Perris. 

The deputy, who has not been identified, was hospitalized in stable condition after the incident.
