Red Flag Warning Remains In Effect For LA, Ventura Counties

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Much of Southern California remained under a red flag warning Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, very low humidity and gusty Santa Ana winds threaten "extreme fire behavior" across the Southland.

The warning will remain in effect until 6 p.m. for the valley, forest, mountain and coastal areas of Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

Forecasters said temperatures are expected to reach high 60s and 70s under sunny skies.
