Red Flag Warning For SoCal To Take Effect Sunday
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A red flag warning is expected to go into effect on Sunday for much of Southern California, the National Weather Service announced.
The warning for the mountains and valleys of Ventura and Los Angeles counties will take effect at 6 a.m. due to anticipated gusty winds and low humidity.
The NWS says wind gusts between 45 and 55 miles per hour are possible with the strongest winds occurring on Sunday morning through afternoon.
The warning is set to expire at 8 p.m. on Monday.
