Push For Public To Buy LA Clippers Gains Momentum Online
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An online effort is gaining momentum to have the public purchase the Los Angeles Clippers.
The website, OurClippers.com, is encouraging Angelenos to band together to buy shares of the team.
The website claims that $1 million is needed to make the effort legitimate. The site has already raised $40,000.
The move comes after new NBA Commissioner Adam Silver banned current owner, Donald Sterling, from the game for life.
