Pursuit Suspect Arrested After Crashing Vehicle Near Lynwood High School
LYNWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A female motorist remained in custody on Wednesday after leading officers on a pursuit through Lynwood.
Shortly after 2:30 a.m., officers were in pursuit of a suspect traveling in a stolen vehicle on Imperial Highway, according to the South Gate Police Department.
Officers said a woman crashed the vehicle near Lynwood High School, located on Imperial Highway between Jackson and Cornish avenues.
Paramedics transported the woman for treatment of multiple injuries.
Imperial Highway has been shut down in both directions until further notice.
