LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Wednesday sought the public's help for information leading to a male and female suspect who are wanted in the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man.

The victim, who had just finished working for the day, got into an argument with the male suspect before he was killed.

"Deputies were flagged down and directed to the location regarding gunshots heard in the area," officials said in a statement.

Rodriguez, who was pronounced dead at the scene, knew the male suspect, police said.

Moments following the murder, the female suspect was seen driving a silver 2001 or 2002 Nissan Xterra away from the location, southbound on Bloomfield Avenue.
