Powerball Ticket Worth $3 Million Sold In Torrance

TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — A Powerball ticket purchased at a convenience store in Los Angeles County is worth more than $3 million, the California Lottery announced Sunday.

Officials said the ticket worth $3,167,202 was sold at a 7-Eleven store located at 1699 W. Carson Street in Torrance.

The ticket matched five of six numbers and was only missing the Powerball number of 25. The other winning numbers were 13, 14, 19, 31 and 38.

Officials estimate that Wednesday night's draw will be worth $131 million.

Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
