Officer-Involved Shooting Reported In South LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An officer-involved shooting has been reported in South LA.
Desmond Shaw reported from overhead in Sky 9.
The shooting occurred at Western and 60th Street.
The situation started as an officer needs help call.
There has been a "huge response" from officers in the 77th Street Division. Shaw said there was a group of officers looking at something on the ground, perhaps a gun.
Shaw also reported that at least one person has been transported to the hospital.
No officers were injured in the shooting, authorities said.
