Police seeking help from public in finding gunman in deadly Long Beach shooting

Police are seeking help from the public in identifying and locating the gunman involved in a deadly shooting in Long Beach on Tuesday. 

It happened at around 1:15 p.m. in the 900 block of Via Carmelitos, the Carmelitos neighborhood, according to the Long Beach Police Department. 

Officers arrived and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Dwayne Walton, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Investigators have not yet announced any arrests and do not have information available on a suspect involved in the shooting. They did not have details on a motive either.
