Police Search For 2 Suspects In Fatal San Bernardino Hit-And-Run

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Police on Saturday morning are searching for two suspects believed to have fled their Chevrolet Suburban on foot after causing a three-car collision that left one man dead and two others injured in San Bernardino Friday night.

Investigators said the crash occurred when a taxi cab carrying passenger Cesar Figueroa was rear-ended by a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban travelling at a high rate of speed. The impact projected the cab into an intersection, where it was struck a second time, by a Honda Civic.

Figueroa was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the taxi cab and the Honda Civic were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspects.
