Armed Pursuit Suspect Surrenders To Police In Carson

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — An armed suspect surrendered to police Friday after leading officers on a chase through the Carson area.

The pursuit began around 11:42 a.m., near the intersection of Q Street and Figueroa in Wilmington, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers said a felony warrant was attached to the dark-colored SUV the suspect is traveling in.

At this time, it remains unclear what the warrant is for.

The suspect surrendered to authorities shortly after noon.

No injuries were reported.
