Police Kill 3 Men In 2 Days In Southern California
LANCASTER (AP) — Police have confronted and killed three men in two days in Southern California.
West Covina police shot a man they say came at them with a knife Friday night.
Police say the man stabbed his brother, left his apartment and then advanced on an officer, who tried to stop him with a stun gun and then shot him.
The man's brother had a non-life threatening wound.
In Lancaster, a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy killed a man late Friday night. Authorities say he was stopped by a gang patrol and pulled an assault pistol from under his jacket.
Thursday night, San Diego police answering an assault report shot a 60-year-old man. They say he came out of a condominium with a knife and tried to stab an officer.
