Pursuit suspect goes off-roading next to I-105 Freeway and crashes under an overpass

Pursuit suspect veers off freeway and into underpass wash before disappearing

A pursuit suspect veered his allegedly stolen truck into the dirt embankment off the I-105 Freeway and into a wash under an overpass after recklessly evading police for about half an hour.

It began in the Inland Empire when the Ontario Police Department tried to pull over the man but continued into Los Angeles County. The suspect weaved through traffic on the I-605 Freeway, nearly hitting a few motorists before exiting onto city streets in Whittier. There, he continued to recklessly drive past traffic, sometimes veering onto the wrong side of the road. He narrowly missed oncoming traffic several times.

Eventually, the driver made his way onto the I-105 Freeway before trying to ditch police on the dirt embankment splitting the connectors. He crashed below the overpasses and disappeared near homeless encampments.
