Police Credit Tips From Public For Helping Nab Hair Salon Rape Suspect

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — LAPD Detectives in the Van Nuys division are thanking the public for tips that led them to arrest an alleged rapist.
Police released video and photographs of the suspect following the alleged assault that took place Tuesday evening inside a Van Nuys hair salon as an employee was closing up shop for the night.
Authorities have identified and arrested 30-year-old Enrique Orozco.
Police said he walked into the salon on Vanowen, pulled the victim into the back of the salon and sexually assaulted her.
Friday morning, Orozco was booked on suspicion of rape and kidnap, police said.
