Pedestrian Trapped Under Vehicle After Being Struck By DUI Suspect

RESEDA (CBSLA.com) — A pedestrian was trapped under a vehicle and critically injured after a chain-reaction crash early Saturday in Reseda.

LAPD Sgt. Jodie McGee said a driver struck a parked vehicle and a pedestrian at 3:20 a.m. in the 7300 block of Hatton Place.

In addition to the pedestrian, who became trapped under the driver's car, two other people were hospitalized with unknown injuries, McGee said.

Police suspect the driver was driving under the influence. They didn't say whether that person had been placed under arrest.
