PCH Reopened After Vehicle Rammed Into Production Crew In Malibu

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — Three people, including two pedestrians, were injured Tuesday evening after a vehicle rammed into a production crew along the Pacific Coast Highway.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded shortly after 8 p.m. to the 20300 block of PCH north of Big Rock Drive in Malibu.

The driver of an SUV ran into a fire hydrant, struck two pedestrians and hit a third who was inside a parked vehicle.

One man was airlifted to a local hospital. Two others were transported by ambulance. Their injuries were non-life threatening.

The PCH was closed in both directions until just after 12:20 a.m., causing major traffic congestion.
