Pasadena City College, Caltech lockdown lifted; suspect in custody
A shelter in place order that was issued Thursday afternoon for Pasadena City College's Colorado campus and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) due to police activity has been lifted.

CBSLA has learned that Pasadena and Glendora Police Department officers were looking for a robbery suspect who fled into a parking structure at PCC.
The suspect has been caught and taken into custody.
Caltech & neighbor PCC have shared lockdown orders at the request of @PasadenaPD as they work to apprehend robbery suspects in the vicinity.

If not on campus, do not come to campus. If on campus, please remain in place until you receive a release of the lock down order.
Authorities began tracking the suspect in Glendora by a Pasadena airship, according to Pasadena PD.
The suspect allegedly stopped and got out of its vehicle in the neighborhood located next to PCC's Colorado campus, which is located on the 1570 block of E. Colorado Boulevard.
PCC also has four other campus locations spread out in the Pasadena area and San Gabriel Valley.
PCC ALERT: The main campus lockdown is now lifted. You may leave campus and resume business as normal. There is no longer a threat to the campus community.

As a result to the lockdown, 5 p.m. classes were cancelled for Thursday but all business and activities have resumed to normal as of Thursday evening.
