Oscar Nominees Honored At Star-Studded Beverly Hilton Luncheon
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Some of the biggest names in Hollywood were on hand Monday for the annual Academy Awards nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills.
KNX 1070's Margaret Carrero reports the Beverly Hilton was buzzing as Christian Bale, Sandra Bullock,
Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and other stars gathered to honor more than 150 Academy Award nominees.
The annual event sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is among the first held in advance in the 83rd Annual Academy Awards next month and focuses on nominees in all 24 categories, including Best Actor and Best Actress.
Several nominees attended the luncheon, including Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Bruce Dern, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey and Meryl Streep.

Supporting Actor and Actress nominees Barkhad Abdi, Bradley Cooper, Jonah Hill, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts and June Squibb were also on hand.
McConaughey, who is nominated for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club" as a cowboy-turned-crusader who finds out he's HIV positive, told reporters he wanted to make sure he didn't miss a moment.
"I will enjoy this," McConaughey said. "This is my first time nominated. If I ever get nominated again, who knows? But there will never be another first time. So I will enjoy this one."
The Oscars will be held March 2 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.
