No Foul Play Suspected After Man Found Dead In Port Of LA Water
LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) — Investigators say there is no sign of foul play after a man was found dead in the water near his boat at the Port of Los Angeles.
Port police say reports came in late Sunday of a man in the water at Leeward Bay Marina in San Pedro.
David Castle, 62, of Wilmington, reportedly lived aboard his boat at the marina.
"There were no signs of foul play. It is unknown what caused him to be in the water," a statement from Los Angeles Port Police said.
Authorities are investigating how he ended up overboard.
