National Society Of Film Critics Taps 'Inside Llewyn Davis' As Best Picture

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The National Society of Film Critics on Saturday announced "Inside Llewyn Davis" was their pick as Best Picture of 2013.

The dark comedy about the 1960's folk music scene in New York, also won awards for Joel and Ethan Coen as Best Director, Oscar Isaac as Best Actor and Bruno Delbonnel for Best Cinematography.

The voting shows how split the critics are in a year of acclaimed pictures. The LA Film Critics Association lauded "Her" and "Gravity" while the NY Film Critics Circle was most high on "American Hustle."

The National Society of Film Critics has 56 members from around the country.

In other categories this year, the organization chose Cate Blanchett of "Blue Jasmine" as Best Actress and Jennifer Lawrence of "American Hustle" as Best Supporting Actress. James Franco won Best Supporting Actor for his work in "Spring Breakers."
