Three hospitalized after gang-related shooting in Van Nuys

Shooting investigation underway in Van Nuys

Police are investigating a gang-related shooting that left three people wounded in Van Nuys late Saturday evening. 

They were dispatched to the 14700 block of Delano Street at around 9:30 p.m. after learning of gunshots in the area, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Investigators say that the shooting happened when four people inside of a car opened fire into a building in the area before fleeing. 

Three men were hospitalized in stable condition after the incident, according to police. 

SkyCal flew over the scene shortly after officers arrived, where they could be seen setting up a large perimeter as they began their investigation. 

No details were provided on the suspects or a motive in the shooting.
