Motorcyclist Killed In Sylmar Crash
SYLMAR (CBSLA) - A motorcyclist was killed Saturday during a crash in Sylmar, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 11 a.m. to 17009 Foothill Blvd., where the biker was pronounced dead at the scene, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No other injuries were reported, Humphrey said.
One or more lanes of the roadway were closed for an unknown duration near the crash scene until police and coroner operations are complete, he added.
Authorities later identified the man killed in the incident as 56-year-old Guillaume Meyer, though they did not indicate his place of residence.
