From Mugshot To Modeling: So-Called 'Hot Felon' Released From Prison

STOCKTON (CBSLA.com) — Jeremy Meeks - the so-called "hot felon" - has been released from prison.

Meeks became an Internet sensation in 2014 when his booking photo went viral after the Stockton Police Department shared it on Facebook.

While behind bars on weapons charges, he signed with White Cross Management, a talent agency.

Jim Jordan, Meeks' manager and agent at White Cross Management, said he was released from prison at 9 a.m. March 8.

According to Jordan, Meeks spent time with his wife and three children before arriving at a transitional housing facility where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks before "he is completely free to start his new journey."

Meeks shared a picture on Instagram after his release, saying he's overwhelmed and grateful for what lies ahead.

"We have a lot in store regarding Jeremy's new career," Jordan said in a statement. "There are a multitude of offers on the table."
