Man Surrenders After Brief Standoff In Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A man who retreated into his Beverly Hills home when police tried to serve him with a protective order surrendered to the officers who surrounded the residence Tuesday.

Beverly Hills police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino had little information about the standoff that started in the 100 block of South Clark Drive about 1:30 p.m.

The man, who was not identified, was taken into custody about 2:40 p.m.

No information was immediately available about the protective order.

Two children were reportedly watching television inside the home.
