Man Shot In Driveway Of Encino Home In Front Of His 2 Children
ENCINO (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Police Department Thursday asked for the public's help in finding the gunman who shot a father in the driveway of his Encino home.
The 47-year-old victim was shot in the chest multiple times as he stepped out of his Range Rover in the 4900 block of Rupert Avenue at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Two children, both of whom are under the age of 10, were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, but neither of them were injured, according to Sgt. David Madof of the LAPD.
The suspect, who was described as a white male in his 50s, fled the scene in a pickup truck or a silver Porsche.
The victim, who was discovered by his wife, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
