Police: Man Sexually Assaults Clerk At Koreatown Video Store After She Wouldn't Give Free Merchandise
KOREATOWN (CBSLA.com) — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who sexually assaulted a clerk in a Koreatown video store when she wouldn't give him free merchandise.
LAPD investigators say the man walked into the store on Sept. 8.
He asked if he could have some free videos.
When the clerk refused, he threw her on the floor, sexually assaulted her and left, police reported.
The attack reportedly occurred around 5:30 p.m.
The suspect was described as African-American, between 21 and 25 years old, and weighing between 170 and 210 pounds. He stands somewhere between 5-foot-8-inches and 6 feet tall.
