Man riding bike dies after being hit by two cars in Santa Monica over weekend

A man was killed over the weekend when he was hit by two different cars while riding his bike in Santa Monica. 

The victim, since identified as 41-year-old Bradley Allen Proudfoot, was hit at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning in the 1800 block of Lincoln Boulevard, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. 

"A bicyclist was traveling southbound on Lincoln Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle and subsequently struck again by a second vehicle," police said. "Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation."

Despite investigators stating that neither driver showed signs of impairment at the time, they're still asking anyone who may have witnessed the collisions to contact them at (310) 458-8427.
