Man stabbed to death during road rage incident in Lennox

Authorities investigating deadly stabbing in Lennox

Deputies are investigating a deadly stabbing that stemmed from a road rage incident in Lennox on Tuesday. 

It was reported at around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of 111th Street and Larch Avenue, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. 

Deputies say that it began as a road rage incident after two drivers got into a fight that escalated into the stabbing.

The victim got back into his car and drove away from the scene to Hawthorne Boulevard and Imperial Highway, where he stopped and called 911. 

The victim, who has not yet been identified, died after being rushed to a nearby hospital. 

They say that the suspect fled from the scene and has not yet been located.
