Man Fatally Shot In Pomona

POMONA (CBSLA) — Police were investigating a fatal shooting in Pomona Friday night.
According to the Pomona Police Department, officers responded to the 1100 block of E. Pasadena Street around 7:36 p.m. where they found an adult male who had been shot. The man was taken to the hospital, but later died.
Pomona police Chief Michael Olivieri said in a tweet that the incident may be drug or gang related.
Preliminary information suggests a male adult victim and the incident may be drug and/or gang related. Our Major Crimes Task Force is on-duty currently assisting, and our Homicide (Major Crimes Unit) Detectives are rolling in.
